Stagience ("we," "us," or "our") is a home staging business management platform operated from Ontario, Canada. We provide tools to help home staging professionals manage their inventory, projects, scheduling, photos, and documents.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Stagience platform, including our website at stagience.com and our web application.

We collect the following types of information when you use Stagience:

Account Information:

  • Email address (used for login and communication)
  • Password (stored in encrypted form โ€” we never see your plain-text password)

Business Data you provide:

  • Project details (client names, addresses, dates, notes)
  • Inventory items (names, descriptions, photos, locations, status)
  • Calendar events and project timelines
  • Photos and files uploaded to projects
  • Document templates
  • Team member email addresses and roles

Technical Information:

  • Browser type and device information
  • IP address
  • Pages visited and actions taken within the app (for troubleshooting and improvement)

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Stagience platform
  • Authenticate your identity and keep your account secure
  • Store and organize the business data you enter
  • Send account-related emails (password resets, team invitations)
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Improve and develop new features based on usage patterns
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising purposes, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. Here is how we protect your information:

  • Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
  • Encryption at rest: Your data is encrypted at the database level
  • Row Level Security: Every user can only access their own data โ€” there is no way for one user to view another user's projects, inventory, or photos
  • Private file storage: Photos and files are stored in private, access-controlled storage โ€” they are never publicly accessible
  • Password security: Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored in plain text

While we take every reasonable measure to protect your data, no system is 100% immune to security risks. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and keep your login credentials confidential.

๐Ÿ“ Your data is stored on servers located in Canada and/or the United States via Supabase's infrastructure. By using Stagience, you consent to this storage location.

๐Ÿค 5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use trusted third-party services (Supabase for database and storage, Vercel for hosting) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements
  • Team members: If you invite team members to your Stagience account, they will have access to your shared business data based on their assigned role and permissions
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Stagience or its users
  • Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of Stagience, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before this occurs.

As a user of Stagience, and as a resident of Canada under PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), you have the following rights:

  • Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: You can update or correct your personal information at any time through your account settings
  • Deletion: You can request that we delete your account and all associated data. Contact us and we will process your request within 30 days
  • Portability: You can export your data (inventory, projects) at any time using our export features
  • Withdraw consent: You may withdraw consent to our data processing at any time by deleting your account

Stagience uses minimal cookies and local browser storage necessary for the application to function:

  • Authentication cookies: Used to keep you logged in securely between sessions
  • Session data: Temporary data stored in your browser to maintain your session

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools that monitor your behaviour across other websites.

Stagience is a professional business tool intended for adults (18 years and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete the account and associated data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our service evolves. When we make significant changes, we will:

  • Notify registered users by email
  • Display a notice within the Stagience app
